Sleep is for Babies
Well, it has finally happened. After a year of 2 a.m., 4 a.m., 4:45 a.m, and 6 a.m. feedings, Olivia is sleeping through the night! I fully expected that by this point, if I wasn't already suffering irrepariable damage from sleep deprivation related injuries, I would sleep like a hibernating bear. When Ava first started sleeping through the night, I would blissfully sink into a restorative slumber and wake up recharged and full of energy. This time? Yeah, not so much. I don't know if I'm just accustomed to surviving on 6 combined hours of sleep and my body thinks I should be making better use of my time, or if it is Mother Nature's sick way of giving me alone time ( because who else is up at 5 a.m.on a Saturday loading the dishwasher?). Either way, I'm not ok with it. Now, if you will excuse me, it is 6 a.m. and that laundry isn't going to do itself.
